Character Layout/Animation
• Create compositions of scenes and key animation from interpretation of storyboards.
• Ensure characters are “on model” and the size relationships stay consistent from scene to scene as well as the start poses for the characters.
• Determine Character placement, size and movement in the frame.
• Create field guides to plot camera movements and enhance cinematic staging.
• Indicate levels for all scene elements, bring in the Props, FX and BG to set up the scene for animation.
Assistant Director
• Communicate and oversee crew members to insure proper creative direction and artistic abilities.
• Maintain show schedules and delegate work to meet deadlines.
• Train new hires and supported existing staff to achieve efficient production.
• Storyboarding new sequences, revising previous storyboards to incorporate rewrites.
• Timing animation and edit sequences to insure good story telling and pacing.
